2024 M8 BREAK OUT CUSTOM
Honor tradition. Challenge conventions.
"DEFY." To resist, to defy, and to challenge.
The name embodies a clear determination to create new innovations without being bound by established values or conventional wisdom, while paying homage to the traditions that have been passed down. The base model is the 2024 Harley-Davidson Breakout, powered by the Milwaukee-Eight engine. It features a low-slung frame, long, flowing proportions, and an overwhelming presence.
Respecting the BREAKOUT’s inherent excellent styling and core performance, we deliberately chose not to significantly alter the silhouette of the stock vehicle; instead, we took on the challenge of completely reimagining it based on BAD LAND’s unique design philosophy.
Gas tank, rear fender, handlebars, headlight. Each component has been fundamentally reimagined, forming a new body silhouette through flowing, elegant curves and a meticulously calculated continuity of surfaces. Rather than each part asserting its presence independently, they are organically connected, creating a unified aesthetic as a single motorcycle.
Above all else, the primary focus of this customization was achieving a balance between aesthetic beauty and real-world riding performance. BAD LAND does not aim to create custom bikes that sacrifice a motorcycle’s fundamental functionality or the joy of riding simply in pursuit of visual impact.Without compromising the BREAKOUT’s fundamental performance, we explore new possibilities in design while pursuing functionality and ease of handling in real-world riding. This is neither a mere change to the exterior nor an extension of the existing style. It is an endeavor to create new value that differs from what has come before—one that understands the originality’s inherent perfection and carries forward its appeal.
We are not rejecting tradition. We are challenging ourselves to go beyond tradition.
