2005 FXSTB 300 WIDE TIRE CUSTOM

This is a Euro-style custom bike built on the basis of a 2005 Harley-Davidson FXSTB. If my memory serves me correctly, the build took place in 2007.

Back then, we were focused on faithfully recreating the German-style custom bikes that had originated and evolved primarily in Germany. However, starting with this particular bike, our own unique interpretation began to gradually emerge.

The rear is fitted with 300-size wide tires. The design of the rear fender that covers them is entirely the result of BAD LAND’s original concept. By mounting the fender directly to the swingarm, the clearance between the fender and the tire has been minimized to the absolute limit, enveloping the overwhelming bulk of the 300 tire without a single gap.The color options are black and iconic red. This look, limited to just two colors, evokes the image of a rugged warrior who once roamed the Warring States period.

While unquestionably a Euro-style custom bike, this machine captures the moment when the aesthetic sensibilities we as Japanese people have always possessed began to take root in our custom work.
