1998 EVO Fully Customized
IZANAGI

IZANAGI
EVO SOFTAIL | FULLY CUSTOMIZED
This “IZANAGI” is a fully customized EVO Softail built by BAD LAND—a model that truly represents a pinnacle in the company’s long history of custom motorcycle building.
The production period was approximately two years. The total cost of customization was 15,000,000 yen (excluding the cost of the base vehicle). Pursuing unique aesthetic design and advanced engineering, this vehicle—meticulously crafted down to the finest details—is a true symbol of BAD LAND.
The front end features 3D aluminum billet front forks manufactured by Goldammer, a renowned Canadian custom shop. Machined from a solid block of metal, these forks boast a sculptural design and an overwhelming presence, making them an extremely rare component. Known as a collector’s item that is now difficult to obtain, they are what define this motorcycle’s unique character.

At its heart lies a large-displacement 124 cu. in. (approx. 2,032 cc) V-twin engine manufactured by S&S and featuring a diamond-cut finish. This engine section exudes an overwhelming presence, combining a power unit that generates powerful torque with an exhaust system exclusively designed and manufactured by BAD LAND.

The front and rear wheels, as well as the rear brake assembly, feature components specially ordered from No Limit Custom in Germany. Furthermore, by combining an HPU wide tire kit with Performance Machine controls, the bike thoroughly pursues perfection in both function and design across every component.

Major exterior components that define the overall look of the bike—including the gas tank, front and rear fenders, handlebars, and exhaust—are all completely one-off creations by BAD LAND. The low-slung chassis, the sleek front end, and the rear section with its overwhelming presence—its most distinctive feature is the unique proportions that integrate all of these elements into a single silhouette.
The refined metallic sheen that stands out against the black bodywork. What we see here is not merely a collection of decorative elements. It represents BAD LAND’s unwavering commitment to custom building—a commitment to infusing every design element with a clear purpose and achieving a high-level fusion of function and aesthetics.
“IZANAGI”—The immense amount of time devoted to technology, design, and craftsmanship. This BAD LAND full-custom bike is the culmination of it all.
VEHICLE CONDITION
Regarding Vehicle Condition
This vehicle has been in service for a considerable number of years, and signs of aging are visible on the exterior and some metal parts. To help preserve the vehicle’s original aesthetic appeal and texture in the best possible condition, BAD LAND recommends the following refresh and restoration work.
There are areas on the painted surfaces where the gloss has varied or the paint film has deteriorated. Additionally, slight corrosion and dullness resulting from surface oxidation can be seen on the polished aluminum parts, such as the engine, transmission, inner primary, and front forks. For these aluminum parts, it is expected that their original beautiful metallic luster can be restored by repolishing them with a compound or similar product.
Since slight rust has been observed on some bolts in various parts of the vehicle body and around the engine, we recommend replacing the affected bolts. Additionally, as some peeling of the plating has been observed on the outer primary cover, we believe it would be advisable to restore the surface finish through re-plating or similar measures.
These are primarily recommended maintenance items related to the vehicle’s exterior and surface finish. By performing proper restoration work, you can expect to bring out even more vividly the distinctive design of the IZANAGI and the striking presence of its meticulously finished metal parts.
At BAD LAND, to ensure that the value of this vehicle is preserved for generations to come, we provide an accurate assessment of its current condition and propose a restoration project carried out by our company to bring out its full potential.
* Please feel free to contact us for details regarding the restoration work.
