If asked, "What is BAD LAND's greatest strength?" I would answer without hesitation: it is having met the renowned German craftsman Thomas Haberman in the early 2000s.

Thomas Habermann, who established the workshop Habermann Performance in the southern German city of Ulm, designed and produced the world's first 200-wide tire kit for the EVO Softail in the mid-1990s.He then entered the TwinCam era, laying the foundation for the evolving wide tire culture that progressed to 250, 280, 300, and 330. A true master with deep knowledge of Harley engines, transmissions, and frame structures, combining both theory and practice. His presence was unshakable within Europe's custom scene.

The first time I visited his workshop was in 2001. Though a central figure in a global movement, he was an artisan who approached his work quietly, without arrogance. The orderly rows of machines and jigs, the meticulously managed materials, and the palpable tension permeating the entire space. The moment I stood there, I knew I had encountered the real thing.

This vehicle is a special one formally ordered during its first visit. Every major structural component—from the frame, swingarm, fuel tank, front and rear fenders, to the oil tank—was crafted by Thomas Haberman himself. BAD LAND handled the selection of wheels, muffler, and handlebars, the final assembly, and the production of the art graphics.

As you can see, this vehicle boasts an impressive silhouette with its extremely long fork. However, the frame structure designed by Thomas Haberman boasts meticulously calculated, perfect dimensions. Contrary to its visual impact, it possesses a level of refinement that allows it to ride extremely naturally and "just like any other bike."
